Marni has lived in the East Liberty Park area for about 15 years and loves it for the walkable neighborhoods, unique small businesses, and historical charm. She represents the residents between 1100 and 1300 East and 900 and 1300 South. Marni has worked in healthcare for the last 25 years, first as a nurse and more recently in consulting and continuous improvement. She is married to Emilio and they have 2 daughters in elementary school. They have recently remodeled and expanded their circa 1906 home on Harvard Avenue, a labor of love that gave her a new found appreciation for preserving this community for future generations.

Marni's work in ELPCO includes administering the Neighborhood Boost Grant (NBG) that provides money for community projects that encourage inclusion and equity, and bolster community cohesiveness and walkability. This, in addition to meeting with neighbors and community members to understand the issues that are important to them
